For this project, we partnered with a couple of young, energetic retirees that recently relocated from a 6,000 sqft home in Ohio to a three bedroom condo to be near their family. We started in the kitchen, where we painted the existing cabinets except for the ones on the sink wall. We removed those and added open shelving to open the space up. Next, we added a custom range hood and took the peninsula from bi-level to single level. We installed new quartz countertops and swapped the hardware and added new pendant lights. In the living room, we added large custom built-ins for extra storage and displaying family heirlooms. We defined the dining area with a deep navy statement wall and contrasting art. We tied everything together with furnishings and accents that enhance the organic, modern feel of the home.
