This charming, 1950s-era brick cottage underwent a thorough renovation. We gave the home a complete update while maintaining the original elements that give it distinct character. We chose timeless furnishings and finishes that celebrate the home’s history while carrying it into the present. The white oak floors and warm white walls enlarge the small home and give it a light + airy feel despite its size. For the kitchen, we went with dark cabinetry, high contrast tile, honed dolomite countertops, and statement lighting to add some moodiness and soul. The custom dining room built-ins, iron balusters on the new staircase, and custom range hood all give the space that elusive feel of heritage and luxury that we always seek to create.
