Our client was downsizing from a large home with lots of dark wood tones and heavy moldings. She wanted to head in the opposite direction: light, bright, and modern. We combined white washed woods with a palette of soft, earthy blues and greens to create a high-end coastal aesthetic. Her teenage daughter requested a grown-up room with feminine hues and clean lines, and that is exactly what she got. We worked with some of the client’s existing furnishings and brought in new pieces that complement them and enhance the design.
